COVID-19 Community Help Hub

Community Information - letter sent to our immediate neighbours 18.3.20:

As a school we want to reach out to our neighbours to offer support, guidance and kindness in any way we can.

We are all currently in uncharted territory as to whether schools close, people being advised to work from home and certain groups to self-isolate for long periods of time due to COVID-19.
There has been lots of social media news on how communities are coming together and Community Help Hubs are being set up, whereby people can register their services.  This can be from collecting prescriptions, shopping for essentials or just a friendly telephone call.  If provisions have already been established within the village, please let us know so we can share with the wider community.

In the meantime please use our school website and our school Facebook page as we will be sharing lots of useful information and contacts on both these sites; regularly updating as the weeks go by.
Should you have any concerns, questions or just need to speak to someone please feel free to email us on, whereby one of our staff members will contact you.
Should the school be closed, please rest assured someone will be in touch.
We take the health, safety and wellbeing of our pupils, staff and the wider community very seriously, and please know that your Egloskerry School community is still here to support you in any way.  Please do not hesitate to reach out.
Mrs Emma Kerr, Principal.
