Welcome

Welcome to our wonderful school. I am enormously proud to be the Principal at Egloskerry Primary School. Egloskerry collaborates with a range of local schools, and has recently joined the Launceston College Multi-Academy Trust.  We continue to work with South Petherwin and Trekenner Primary schools; part of the 'Launceston Rural Learning Trust'.

Our children are a delight – polite, enthusiastic and excited about learning and discovery. They grow into well-rounded pupils with a passion for life and a love of learning.

Our aim is for all of our children to delight in life experiences and achievement.

Our website gives you just a taster of the 'Egloskerry Primary School Experience', it cannot replace a visit to soak up the wonderful atmosphere in our school. If you are a prospective parent/carer, please look at our Prospectus for more information or alternatively please contact us to make an appointment to see the school in action.

Our vision is:
Play together, Learn together, Grow together

Egloskerry School is a school with family values, where children feel secure and cared for.

Our children are able to learn in the bright and stimulating buildings, surrounded by beautiful countryside and fresh air. Although our academic results are good, we also take pride in all our children’s achievements together with their attitudes and behaviour. The school helps the children develop as responsible and caring people, who are able to contribute positively to society.

Egloskerry School is committed to safeguarding children and staff.  This includes safer recruitment, DBS checks, training of staff, etc.  Equal Opportunities are very important to our school, and a copy of the Single Equality Scheme is available. We have a duty of care and may make a referral to Social Care or other agencies as necessary.

We encourage you to visit our school and you are invited to make an appointment with our Principal. You will be warmly welcomed and we are sure you will be impressed by what you see.
